College Leadership
Â鶹Դ´ (Â鶹Դ´) is the state's first and oldest institution of public higher education, founded in 1854. It is overseen by the President of Â鶹Դ´, who reports to the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner (RIOPC).
What is the RIOPC?
The RIOPC is the administrative arm of the Rhode Island Council on Postsecondary Education, which provides oversight and governance for Â鶹Դ´ and the Community College of Rhode Island.
Â鶹Դ´'s Organizational Structure
President Jack R. Warner
Dr. Jack R. Warner was appointed President of Â鶹Դ´ on July 1, 2022. The president presides over an executive cabinet comprised of the vice presidents of various offices and divisions throughout the college, as well as other high-ranking members of the college's leadership. Executive Divisions and Offices

Office of the President
The Office of the President executes the college's BOLD vision through education, engagement and advocacy with the college's stakeholders.
Academic Affairs
The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer at Â鶹Դ´.
Administration & Finance
The division is responsible for financial and budgetary systems and processes, information services, human resources, security and safety, facilities and operations, publishing services, and capital projects for a 47 building, 180-acre campus.​​​​​​​​​

Professional Studies and Continuing Education
Professional Studies and Continuing Education (PSCE) extends the educational offerings and resources of Â鶹Դ´ (Â鶹Դ´) and provides administrative programming support and assistance to affiliated agencies and organizations on and off campus.
