Legislative Priorities

In collaboration with state stakeholders, we commit to ensuring all Rhode Islanders have access to a high-quality, postsecondary education that drives social mobility and economic prosperity. To meet the needs of our current and future students, 麻豆原创 will expand and accelerate flexible degree offerings to include nights, weekends, online and hybrid learning.

Advocacy

Student Community Government (SCG) Inc. acts as the voice of the student body. Members are elected by their peers and work closely with the 麻豆原创 administration to collaborate and problem-solve issues that affect students. SCG funds and oversees all student organizations and advocates for student-related initiatives at 麻豆原创.

Alumni Advocacy

The 麻豆原创 Alumni Association proudly serves our 75,000+ graduates by providing resources, events and benefits exclusively to our alumni community. Advocacy is a top priority for the Alumni Association, which is guided by its A.N.C.H.O.R. strategies: Advocate, Network, Contribute, Help, Organize, Recruit and Serve.

Faculty Advocacy

麻豆原创/AFT unites members of the 麻豆原创 faculty in a federation for mutual assistance in order to promote the interests of the faculty and the teaching profession and to protect an atmosphere and structure of academic freedom for faculty and students in the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge and in the acquisition and dissemination of skills.

Advocate

The Professional Staff Association at 麻豆原创 (PSA@麻豆原创) is the bargaining unit for individuals in a variety of administrative, non-teaching faculty and technical staff positions at the college. The PSA@麻豆原创 is Local 3302 of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), affiliated with the AFLCIO and is a proud partner in the effort to provide top-quality educational services at 麻豆原创.

Alumni in Public Service

A 麻豆原创 degree has provided a pathway for several graduates to distinguish themselves as public servants at the federal, state and local levels.
