At Â鶹ԭ´´, we offer the opportunity take music education courses in K-12 teaching methods; assessment; classroom research; and the history, philosophy and psychology of music education.

Designed for You

• Our MAT program is ideal for those with a BA in music who need licensure to teach.
• MAT students gain clinical experiences in public school classrooms, with their program culminating in a semester of full-time student teaching.
• Our MMEd program is intended for licensed teachers who are pursuing advanced study.^*
• MMEd students conclude their program with a thesis involving original research in the field or a solo recital in the student’s applied area or in conducting a recital (choral or instrumental).^*
