Summer Music Workshops for the Public

Do You Play Trumpet, Percussion, a Woodwind Instrument, or Do You Sing?

Join us for a week of exposure to �鶹ԭ��'s renowned music program. Refine and advance your instrumental or vocal skills with acclaimed faculty and talented professional artists while meeting peer musicians. The Music Institute at �鶹ԭ�� offers you the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of technique, performance, and repertoire preparation in a vibrant college setting.

What to Expect at Our Workshops

We're offering 4, daytime, week-long workshops during June and July that are open to students, 14 years or older, and adults. Workshops are specific to instrument type and focus on trumpet, woodwinds, percussion, and voice. Each day will consist of: warmup sessions, master classes, and ensemble rehearsals.

Trumpet Workshop

Join Director Joseph Foley during the week of June 23–27, from 9:45 am–3 pm in the Nazarian Center on the �鶹ԭ�� campus.

Woodwind Workshop

Join Directors Ian Greitzer and Mary Ellen Kregler during the week of June 23–27, from 9:45 am–3 pm in the Nazarian Center on the �鶹ԭ�� campus.

Percussion Workshop

Join Director Michael DeQuattro during the week of July 7–11, from 9:45 am–3 pm in the Nazarian Center on the �鶹ԭ�� campus.

Vocal Workshop

Join Director Dr. Donald St. Jean during the week of July 21–25, from 9:45 am–3 pm in the Nazarian Center on the �鶹ԭ�� campus.

Please Note

Participants are not required to submit audition materials but are expected to demonstrate proficiency on their instrument. Registration will be capped at 16 for the instrument workshops and 20 for the choral workshop. Private lessons are available for a fee.
